Growing up in South Florida has been amazing and opened me up to so many new adventures. It makes me proud to call this place home! When my friends and family come down from Virginia for vacation, they always ask me for ideas on what to do or where they should go out to eat. Of course, I want them to experience the best that Florida has to offer.
So to help you create your own adventures, I have created a list of three must-do things when you visit Jensen Beach.
What To Do:
Want to enjoy a fun filled day of activities on the water? Here are a few things to do to make your visit even more memorable!
Fishing Charters and Boat Tours:
Water Activities: (Such as kayaking, jet skis, paddle boarding, parasailing, etc):
What To See:
A vacation to Florida isn’t fulfilled until you’ve visited the beach! In Martin County, a great beach that I personally love going to is Santa Lucea Beach and Ross Witham Beach (also called “Rock Beach”) in Stuart, which is located alongside The House of Refuge Museum. It is the perfect place to visit where beautiful rocks and seashells line the edge of the coast. Being able to relax on the sand, listening to the waves crashing up against the rocks is an experience like no other.
What To Eat:
After a long, eventful day touring beautiful South Florida, what’s better than to finish the day with great food and dancing the night away on the water? The perfect place for experiencing the Floridian lifestyle on the waterfront is The Stuart Boathouse! This restaurant has an upscale atmosphere with food at an affordable price. On the menu, you can find a variety of food including seafood, steaks, salads, sandwiches, and more! And if you feel like taking a stroll with your loved one or family members, the outdoor area extends to the River Walk which is a beautiful lit up pathway along the water.
