Pets That Need Rescue ASAP

All of the precious fur babies on this page need adoption or fostering ASAP. Most are located in county shelters where it is not guaranteed that they will come out alive :(  This is my small way of helping these precious souls.

Spitfire reminds you to:

Please, spay or neuter your pets and adopt, don’t shop.

Thank you for taking that stand. I hate to see people selling puppies on the side of the road when there are so many shelter animals that need a home. I tell everyone to buy shelter animals!!!

  2. Susan Broughton says:

I so think that adoption could be the answer to helping all the unwanted animals without homes. If everyone would choose get their animals at shelters it would dramatically drop the numbers.

  3. I think it’s great that you’re posting these! It breaks my heart to see so many animals without a home.

  4. What a great thing you are doing. We have a kill shelter where I live and it makes me sad to know those babies have to endure that.

I just started fostering dogs. it is tought to give them up, but rewarding.

  6. Adopting a shelter dog was the best decision we ever made! Our Lily was adopted after years of abuse and being left alone in the woods of West Virginia. She is the sweetest most loveable dog.

  7. Sherri Lewis says:

It is so hard… I wish I could afford to adopt every one. Both of our cats were rescued….. the youngest was a feral cat. They found his mom, and 5 kittens in the woods scrounging for food when he was 4 months old. We contacted the humane society (where we got him from) and they are sending us another kitty that they need a foster home for. It doesn’t feel like much, but I guess every little bit helps….

  8. Kayleen Considine says:

I have 2 dogs that are both rescues and I love them so very much. My youngest one is a bichon frise that was confined to a crate in a puppy mill for the first 3 years of her life. I look into her beautiful eyes and wonder how anyone could be so cruel as to do that to her. She is the most wonderful little girl anyone could ever ask for. If I could, I would take all the unwanted animals (especially dogs because I’m partial to them) and give them a loving home, but 2 is enough. We give them the best home that we possibly can and above all, they know they are loved and wanted.

oh how i would love to take all of these! i miss having animals..i had to move into an apartment..where they don’t allow pets.
