Preview “Lincoln”: In Theaters Nationwide Nov 16th {Portions Filmed Here In Richmond #RVA}

I have always admired the 16th president of the United States—->Abraham Lincoln. He was instrumental in ending slavery and led the Union through the Civil War. He loved animals and he had a reputation for being intensely “honest”. President Lincoln was also considered an eloquent speaker. This is one of my favorite Lincoln quotes:

  • “It is true that you may fool all of the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all the time; but you can’t fool all of the people all the time.”

On November 16th, the movie “Lincoln” will be released in theaters nationwide. Parts of the movie were filmed here in Richmond, VA and Petersburg, VA. Daniel Day Lewis– who portrays Lincoln in the movie, was spotted around Richmond in full Abe attire. Everyone {including me} was amazed at the physical transformation.
