Yummy Banana Bread #Recipe


This is a fabulous banana bread recipe because it is so easy to make and it comes out perfect every time. I often make it during weekends or when we have guests. Everyone seems to love it! The recipe can be altered to fit your personal tastes——>you can add in nuts, chocolate chips, etc., Yummy!

Yummy Banana Bread #Recipe

Total time: 1 hour 15 mins
  • 3 over-ripe bananas {as in the peels are black}
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter {or margarine} softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla {optional}
  • nuts/chocolate chips {optional}
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and lightly flour a muffin tin or 9×5 loaf pan.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until smooth {I use my hand mixer}.
  4. Beat in eggs and cinnamon.
  5. Mash bananas with a fork and then add into the mixture.
  6. Add flour, baking soda, and any optional ingredients–mix until combined.
  7. Pour into prepared pan.
  8. If baking using the muffin tin, bread is usually done in 30-40 minutes.
  9. If using loaf pan, bread may take up to 1 hour to bake.
  10. Remove from pan and let cool.
  11. Enjoy your yummy banana bread!

    I love this recipe I my country we bake tons of banana bread I use nutmeg instead of vanilla and nuts and almonds instead of chocolate chips to make it, I have never tried to bake it as muffins. I love to keep the banana bread moist so as soon as I remove it form the pan goes in to film. Thank you I have to try the muffin pan
