{Monday Musings} Take A Visual Break and Get Happy!

For most people, Mondays is the most dreaded day of the week. It means back to work, back to school, and back to the daily grind. I remember those feelings well. Whenever I was having “one of those days” or just feeling down in the dumps because the weekend was over, I would set aside some time for a visual break. My visual breaks usually consisted of taking a walk outside, driving to the local Starbucks, or scrolling through pretty pictures on my computer or phone. Did you know that looking at pictures that you find visually appealing can actually stimulate the “good chemicals” in your brain? Yep. Why do you think Pinterest is so popular?! Since I need some “good chemical” stimulation today, here are a few of the pictures that make me feel happy.
