LavAzza Espresso Point EP 850

For my giveaway prize, I am able to offer you a LavAzza Espresso/Cappuccino Machine {ARV $150} thanks to the generosity of! If you love coffee like I do, is the place to go. They have many brand name coffee-makers as well as an endless supply of coffee and tea!

I was able to review the very same product I am giving away:  a LavAzza Espresso Machine. This machine has been feeding my coffee addiction for the last few weeks because the espresso it makes is so darn good. I mean, really good! Better yet, I’m not spending $5 a cup at the local coffee shop.

When I received the LavAzza from, I was pleased to see how well it was packaged. Once I removed it from the package, it took approximately five minutes for me to assemble it. For someone who is mechanically impaired— like myself, this is impressive.

Look at how shiny and gorgeous this machine is!! It’s sleek and shiny appearance will certainly enhance any kitchen decor.

I also received two varieties of espresso and one tea to try out:  LavAzza Espresso Point Decaf, LavAzza Espresso Point Aroma Club, and LavAzza Espresso Point The Verde.

Each individual packet of coffee or tea contains two cartridges to use.

There are no loose espresso grounds to deal with which I absolutely love.

Here is the back of the machine. You can see I’ve filled the water container which pops in and out with ease.

Look at how easy it is to insert the coffee or tea cartridge. I literally dropped it right in the holder.

My happiness in a cup is now brewing!

The portion of the machine that the cup is resting on can be adjusted to fit the size of your cup. If you’re using a small espresso cup, turn the cup support rack over and the cup is closer to the brew dispenser.

The LavAzza also has a milk frother (yay!). The frother was very easy to operate (and adjust) and it didn’t make a mess like milk frothers I have used in the past.

The Yummy Result!

I have been drinking the decaf espresso in the evenings. It has a nice bold flavor. The Aroma Club has been my go-to espresso in the mornings and during the day. It is full of flavor and lacks that bitterness that some espressos have. I tried The Verde which is a green tea. I love tea but I’m not a fan of green tea. I will save this for when I have company (friends or family).

Overall, I am impressed with this machine. It is easy to set-up, easy to operate, and easy to clean up. By using this machine and not buying coffee at an expensive coffee shop, you will earn back your purchase price in less than two months (especially if you’re a daily espresso/coffee drinker). The espresso cartridges cost approximately $14 a box but each box contains enough cartridges to make 24 cups of espresso.  Each cup of espresso will cost you around 60 cents (versus $6 at the local coffee shop). I’m all about saving money when I can without having to sacrifice in the espresso/coffee area. The LavAzza Espresso Point 850 allows me to enjoy my espresso without worrying about price.  Besides, a caffeinated me is a happy me!
