{Earth Day Event} @Rubbermaid 2-In-1 Recycler Review + Giveaway (Plus #KindleFire Grand Prize)

Thank You for taking a part in the Earth Day Event and supporting eco-conscious living. This event is sponsored by Eco-Foil and co-hosted by Way 2 Good Life and She Promotes

The event takes place from April 12 at 11 PM EST and ends on April 22 at 11.59 PM EST

There are so many companies out there that help the environment – why not get to know more about them? Learn about great businesses, their products, and win some giveaways. Over 60 bloggers have prizes valued at $25+. Make sure to visit every blog for more chances to win. Eco-Foil is sponsoring a Kindle Fire ($199 value) as a grand prize. In order to win it – you need to enter some giveaways (the more you enter – the more entries you earn)! Take a moment – visit Eco-Foil and look for 100% recycled disposable aluminum pans at the local stores.

In keeping with the Earth Day theme of this event, I am giving away a Rubbermaid Two-In-One Recycler (ARV $39.99). This giveaway is open to participants in the US and Canada. I was also able to review the Rubbermaid Two-In-One Recycler. Prior to receiving the recycler, I was separating my recyclables and leaving them in a paper bag or on my kitchen counter (not very efficient and a waste of space). Since I’ve been using the Recycler, the aluminum cans and newspapers are out of the way and I’ve reclaimed my kitchen counter. Yay! Here’s a look at the Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler:
2-in-1 Recycler

It looks like an ordinary garbage can doesn’t it? Don’t let the appearance fool you as the 2-in-1 Recycler opens up and reveals two separate containers. The lid is removable and the green carrying handles fold into place.

The 5.8 gallon top bin can be removed from the unit for easy carry out.

The lower 7.4 gallon tilt-out bin features LinerLock™ bag management which keeps your trash bag in place (it works by the way).

Easy peasy!

2-in-1 Recycler

Not only does the Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler help with your recycling but the the item itself is made with recyclable materials. It is recyclable too! The 2-in-1 has made life so much easier and has definitely helped me get organized. This is a high quality {made in the USA} product—–>I love it!

If you would like to purchase your own Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler, you can find it for sale on Rubbermaid’s website and in most Meijer stores.

Would you like to try and win your very own 2-in-1 Recycler? If so, enter using the Rafflecopter form below. When you’re done entering this giveaway, use the link posted below to enter to win the Grand Prize—a Kindle Fire!

I have seen several reviews of this product and love it. It would fit conveniently in my kitchen and make my recycling a bit less messy. I now have a tub at the end of a table in which we place all recyclables which we sort when we take it outside. The dogs have been know to toss it, usually when getting at plastic bottles to play with.

My favourite feature is that it contains both the trash and recyclables in one location. Since we don’t have to sort our recyclables, this is perfect for me. Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite feature would have to be the fold-away handles!! It makes it so much easier and most cans don’t have handles so it’s a bonus 🙂

I can’t believe this exists! What I mean to say is, I’ve been looking for something just like this for a long time and I’m glad to find something that meets my demands. I like the separate compartments so that I can sort my recyclables before I get to the dump.
