In keeping with the Earth Day theme of this event, I am giving away a Rubbermaid Two-In-One Recycler (ARV $39.99). This giveaway is open to participants in the US and Canada. I was also able to review the Rubbermaid Two-In-One Recycler. Prior to receiving the recycler, I was separating my recyclables and leaving them in a paper bag or on my kitchen counter (not very efficient and a waste of space). Since I’ve been using the Recycler, the aluminum cans and newspapers are out of the way and I’ve reclaimed my kitchen counter. Yay! Here’s a look at the Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler:
2-in-1 Recycler

It looks like an ordinary garbage can doesn’t it? Don’t let the appearance fool you as the 2-in-1 Recycler opens up and reveals two separate containers. The lid is removable and the green carrying handles fold into place.

The 5.8 gallon top bin can be removed from the unit for easy carry out.

The lower 7.4 gallon tilt-out bin features LinerLock™ bag management which keeps your trash bag in place (it works by the way).

  Easy peasy!

2-in-1 Recycler

Not only does the Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler help with your recycling but the the item itself is made with recyclable materials. It is  recyclable too! The 2-in-1 has made life so much easier and has definitely helped me get organized. This is a high quality {made in the USA} product—–>I love it!

What Others Are Saying:

  1. says

I am really excited about this product – haven’t been able to find it locally yet. I like the tilt-out feature of the lower bin.  This would keep my recycling area much neater!

  2. Librarypat says

I have seen several reviews of this product and love it.  It would fit conveniently in my kitchen and make my recycling a bit less messy.  I now have a tub at the end of a table in which we place all recyclables which we sort when we take it outside.  The dogs have been know to toss it, usually when getting at plastic bottles to play with.

  3. From Furrin says

My favourite feature is that it contains both the trash and recyclables in one location.  Since we don’t have to sort our recyclables, this is perfect for me.  Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. Kelly Burroughs Crowell says

My favorite feature would have to be the fold-away handles!! It makes it so much easier and most cans don’t have handles so it’s a bonus :)

  5. PanisEtCircense says

I can’t believe this exists! What I mean to say is, I’ve been looking for something just like this for a long time and I’m glad to find something that meets my demands. I like the separate compartments so that I can sort my recyclables before I get to the dump.

  6. That lady over there says

What do I like about this product?? I love everything about it! Especially that it would get my family to recycle more!

  7. Christinejessamine says

  8. ronalee says

favorite feature – LinerLock™ bag management which keeps your trash bag in place

  9. Donna Cairns says

I love that it has two sections. I think I would keep my redeemable recyleables in the top portion and take it with me every time I go to the grocery store to recycle my cans.

  10. June M. says

I love the fact that it has two separate sections, and that they are not too large, so they can not get over full & heavy. Due to a back injury, I can not lift too much so this is important to me.

  11. Jodi Hoppe Wresh says

Wouldn’t have to have seperate containers and would convenirtly fit in my broom closet wher i keep the waste basket now and would not be messy.

  12. Sandy VanHoey says

My daughter recycles many things so it would be so convenient to have all in one place and she wouldn’t need baskets all over her kitchen. I love this!
