Although I am on a strict budget, one of the few things I splurge on is getting my hair highlighted/colored at a salon. It brightens up my fair skin and makes me feel good. As a result, I try to preserve my haircolor as much as possible. One of the recommendations from my colorist was that I don’t wash my hair daily. For someone with fine hair and oily roots, this sounded like an impossible feat. Impossible that is until I discovered Batiste Dry Shampoo. For $7.99, I decided to give it a try. I have tried other more expensive brands of dry shampoo in the past but they always left me feeling disappointed as they either left white residue in my hair or failed to remove the oil in my hair. Needless to say, I didn’t have high expectations for Batiste. The first time I tried it, I literally had an OMG moment. Not only was the scent great, but it automatically removed the oiliness from my hair and it didn’t make it flat. Actually, it actually gave my hair MORE volume! I am so in love with this product that I could scream it from the rooftops! Instead, I am telling all of you how fantastic this product is. I loved it so much that I wrote to Batiste to let them know how much I love Batiste dry shampoo (I usually contact companies when I am dissatisfied with a product) so this was a first for me. Here is what Batiste looks like:
I used the Blush scent and it smells great!
Batiste Dry Shampoo is made in England but sold here in the US. I purchased mine at Ulta but Batiste is also sold online at drugstore.com. There are two different sizes~~the 1.6 fl. oz is $3.99 and the 5.05 fl. oz is $7.99. Obviously, the larger size is the most cost effective. You will also save water and shampoo by not having to wash your hair daily. This product is great for travel too!
