Batiste Dry Shampoo Review and Giveaway~Win a can of Batiste dry shampoo

Although I am on a strict budget, one of the few things I splurge on is getting my hair highlighted/colored at a salon. It brightens up my fair skin and makes me feel good. As a result, I try to preserve my haircolor as much as possible. One of the recommendations from my colorist was that I don’t wash my hair daily. For someone with fine hair and oily roots, this sounded like an impossible feat. Impossible that is until I discovered Batiste Dry Shampoo. For $7.99, I decided to give it a try. I have tried other more expensive brands of dry shampoo in the past but they always left me feeling disappointed as they either left white residue in my hair or failed to remove the oil in my hair. Needless to say, I didn’t have high expectations for Batiste. The first time I tried it, I literally had an OMG moment. Not only was the scent great, but it automatically removed the oiliness from my hair and it didn’t make it flat. Actually, it actually gave my hair MORE volume! I am so in love with this product that I could scream it from the rooftops! Instead, I am telling all of you  how fantastic this product is. I loved it so much that I wrote to Batiste to let them know how much I love Batiste dry shampoo (I usually contact companies when I am dissatisfied with a product) so this was a first for me. Here is what Batiste looks like:

I used the Blush scent and it smells great!
Batiste Dry Shampoo is made in England but sold here in the US. I purchased mine at Ulta but Batiste is also sold online at drugstore.com. There are two different sizes~~the 1.6 fl. oz is $3.99 and the 5.05 fl. oz is $7.99. Obviously, the larger size is the most cost effective. You will also save water and shampoo by not having to wash your hair daily. This product is great for travel too!
~~~~Now for the good stuff. Batiste has agreed to provide two lucky blog followers with a can of Batiste Dry Shampoo. That’s right. . .2 lucky people will be winning a can of this awesome dry shampoo. If you’d like to win, here is what you need to do:
    In Georgia, it's SUPER humid, so by mid-day you hair will end up oily if you're outside a lot like me with my son. lol
    My brother-in-law was in a serious car accident two weeks ago, and I actually bought him some dry-shampoo since he wasn't able to bathe himself. He said it was awesome. I am so willing to try this product now that I have to wonderful opinions about this product! :)
  7. I would like to try Batiste because I've heard it smells amazing!
    I find washing my hair with water every day means it goes curly and so needs straightening far too often. With dry shampoo the straight style stays in!
    Less of the sraightening = a healthier head of hair!
  8. Heck yeah! I'd love to try it! Who hasn't woke up late and realized there wasn't enough time to wash and dry your hair?? That would be awesome!
  9. Liked the page, bacame a stalker for you too. I would love my son to try this because his is 10 & hates washing his hair. I could sneak up on him & wash his hair & he would never even know it.
  10. I liked their page and I'd like to try it because I have an oily
    scalp and dry brittle, hair so I try not to shampoo every day. This would be great to have when my hair gets really long again.
  11. Liked them :) I would love to try it because I have a 2 day trip on a greyhound bus here in a month and this would be a great way to keep my hair clean on the trip :)
  12. I have red colored hair, which we all know fades quickly when washed a lot. I have tried powder shampoos before and have not been too thrilled with the results. I have liked the reviews I have been reading about Batiste and must say it has gotten great reviews and I am anxious to try it. I may have to take a try up to Ulta tomorrow !
  13. I have never tried any dry shampoo's before. This would be great for me. I always feel i have to wash my hair once or twice a day. It would be nice to have this so i can make my hair healthier.
  14. I have "liked" their page and read about the product. I have tried dry shampoos in the past and have not been thrilled with the result. I would love to try this after reading the reviews from others.
